Pertti Paakkanen on käsittääkseni sama henkilö kuin tuo Vapaan Suomen toimittaja. Olen päätellyt, että lukemistoviihde oli monille 30-40-luvun äärioikeistolaisille pakopaikka, olihan esim. aks:läinen toimittaja Walter Jokinen sodan jälkeen (muistaakseni) Salapoliisi-lehden päätoimittaja. jurinummelinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16341211256652624861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9919027.post-9492670414274102722015-01-19T18:18:42.192+02:002015-01-19T18:18:42.192+02:00Jep. Asiantuntijana sinulla on näistä tietoa enempi kuin minulla jonka harrastukset pääasiallisesti kulkee toiseen suuntaan, mutta, viime viikkoina olen tehnyt jonkinlaista "indeksiä" mm. Viikonloppu-lehden "edelläkävijästä" lukemistolehti Avusta. Kotimaiset kirjoittajathan on osin samoja näissä koska markkinat oli pienet. (Liian vähälle huomiolle on jäänyt mm. Peter Sound, siis Erkki-Mikaelin veli Lauri Teppo Salmi). Y...Umm... should've also thought of something else. You see that almost every issue begins with something called Herra Eemeli Lounasketo. The stories aren't really stories, they are what we call "pakina" here, lightweight humorous stories, sort of columns, stories of everyday life and such. Nothing for you, I'll guarantee that.Jurihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03021010310386744591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9919027.post-69403215871651374482008-01-29T19:25:00.000+02:002008-01-29T19:25:00.000+02:00Hi Jess, should've thought of you. He doesn't die, but is unable to get back. Other than that, I don't know. The thing in the mags is actually a serial, so Dorton is not a recurring character. There were some other serials too, but I don't think there were any actual series heroes.

I didn't have time to read the stories, mind you, but I'll have to get back to that. I was very curious about some of the more horrific and fantastic stories in the mag, though - these things weren't very common in the Finnish pulps or other fictionmags.Jurihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03021010310386744591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9919027.post-35886341266514409332008-01-29T18:45:00.000+02:002008-01-29T18:45:00.000+02:00Hi, Juri--So, what can you tell me about Professor...Hi, Juri--

So, what can you tell me about Professor Dorton?
