The most popular Flemish cartoon series ever, Suske en Wiske (Anu ja Antti in Finnish), has been made into a 3D animated film and
it's a western! The characters look ugly, as they seem to always do in computer animation, but interesting nevertheless.
Suske and Wiske (those crazy kids!) did have adventures in crazy places occasionally, once even on an old Dutch tradiing ship in the seventeenth century, I think, so a Western may not be all that out of character. I took a look at the poster, and you're right. Those figures are ugly.
