Evan Hunter aka Ed McBain aka Richard Marsten aka Curt Cannon, previously Salvatore Lambino, has passed away at the age of 78. He's much missed. Here are some pictures from the beginning of his career when he hadn't yet developed his most famous series, the 87th Precinct. This is a juvenile SF novel from the mid-fifties.
