My friend, crime and children's writer Tapani Bagge is soon releasing his debut graphic novel. It's called Kovanen and it's part of the Finnish Korkeajännitys/High Voltage series that's been hugely popular in here. (The series stems originally from the British Commando series.) The novel takes place in the prohibition era and features a booze smuggler as its hero. The novel is illustrated by Jari Rasi; here's the invitation card I just received for the release party. (I'm sorry to say that I can't make it.)
I like the style in the picture. I'll bet this will be a delight.
