Pulpetti: short reviews and articles on pulps and paperbacks, adventure, sleaze, hardboiled, noir, you name it. Peppered with some comments on everyday life of a writer and politics (mainly in Finland) and also some very, very high-brow literature.

Well, librarians were, for quite some time, among the few female authority figures that many adult men came across (or did so if they got lucky), and had done so for most of their literate lives...so along with being intellectual aides and gatekeepers, they were (much as with schoolteachers) "required" to be prim and proper, and anyone reading for kicks might be kindly disposed toward books and those who worked with books...and, of course, PLAYBOY wasn't the only source of love for sophomoric puns on stacks and "stacked"...
