Just saw this on the Rara-Avis mailing list, from David Thompson of Busted Flush Press:
University of Chicago Press has plans to reprint ALL of Richard Stark's Parker novels, publishing 3 per season... the first three this fall, the next in the spring. I contacted several people at UC (and they could not have been nicer!) and stressed the importance of sticking with their publication plans up to #7 and beyond, since these are the toughest to find, and they assured me they're in it for the long haul.

That is exceedingly good news. Perhaps these reprints will contain fewer typos than the still-excellent Allison & Busby editions of Parker. And I may finally be able to find Butcher's Moon without selling a kidney and taking out a second mortgage.

This is actually pretty funny, since for the Finnish reader getting the whole series together is easy through second hand book stores and such. I even think that Butcher's Moon may be one of the most common titles.
But of course they are only translations and some of them are not very good at that.
Butcher's Moon, Deadly Edge and Plunder Squad have been the hardest of the series to obtain in the U.S. in recent years. I managed through patience to find the latter two at decent prices, but Butcher's Moon remains the only one of the Parker series I haven't read, other than the brand-new Dirty Money.
David Thompson was also at NoirCon, by the way. It looks like he puts out some good stuff with Busted Flush.
