Two interviews of two western writers

Two great interviews of two great western writers at the Western Fiction Review: James Reasoner and Jory Sherman. Both are not very well known in Finland - were it not for me and my fanzines, there would be no Reasoner translations, and Jory Sherman has had only a handful of his western series translated under a pseudonym. (And two of his horror novels.) Well, it's of course possible that one or two of Reasoner's thrillers he does secretly for big names is translated without anyone else knowing. It's also possible that one or two Sherman's sex paperbacks, from his early days, was translated in the early seventies.

By the way, do check out the Jory Sherman bibliography I posted here a while back.

And, oh, I forgot to mention that Sherman is mentioned in Neeli Cherkovski's biography of Charles Bukowski. (Sherman started out as a beat poet and he's still writing poetry. He once sent me a handful for translation, but I haven't had much time to do anything to them.)
