A commentator said a while back that I looked "suitably bad-ass" in a photo I posted here. While I don't know about that, I do know that once I did look "suitably bad-ass". Just check out that mean look on that man's face! No wonder he turned out to be a hardboiled aficionado. (It's me in 1987 or 1988, making me 15 or 16.)
